Pamela's Story
It's hard to believe that 30 years have passed, but I am looking forward to seeing old friends and sharing memories at the class of 1978 reunion in July.
After Chico High, I attended college in the Bay Area, and lived in Berkeley for about 12 years. I married my husband, Craig, in 1983 and we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary very soon. nd ethnomusicology at Willamette University, in Salem, Oregon. Through my work, I've been able to travel and live abroad several times...something I did not foresee when I was in high school.
We have a ten-year-old son, who just finished 5th grade. Despite all the changes in our world, I'm often struck that his school and community experiences are remarkably like my own, growing up in Chico and attending Hooker Oak Elementary School. We also have two cats, and a backyard with a gigantic and very old oak tree.
