Pamela's Story

Life I am entering my 38th year as a cardiovascular RN. I currently work for Vanderbilt Heart Murfreesboro (formery The Cardiac Center and prior to that,formerly Page-Campbell Cardiology Group). I am also a registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer since 1979, having performed and taught adult echo (ultrasound) and carotid duplex vascular ultrasound for many years. Robert Chandler, (AHS class of '69) and I have been married 38 years, high school sweethearts and soul mates! Our oldest daughter, Jennifer, will be 33 on Christmas Eve. She is a Vandy/Peabody 2000 alumni and teaches gifted children in Greenville, SC. She and her husband James met at Vandy and have been married 9 years. James is a violinist and plays for the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and teaches strings for Greenville County High Schools. Our youngest daughter, Emily, is 27, and is a 2005 graduate of MTSU. ef and graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Orlando, employed at the Victoria and Albert's restaurant at The Grand Floridian at WDW. They have missed TN and have decided to move back from Orlando after 4 years. Emily works for World Travel Holdings as a cruise sales agent and will set up her virtual office in their new home only 4 miles away from us. No grandkids yet. 1 'grand-dog'. Robert and I have lived in our 'dream home' for 22 years at 5312 Bell Crest Drive, Antioch TN, 37013,a Nashville 'burb'. We enjoy Phoebe, our sweet 8-yr old cinnamon chow. I was disappointed AHS alumni did not have a 30 or 35 year class reunion :-( Glad to hear our 40th is in progress instigated by Terry Carver and others. We're the best as you can see!
