Life
Hello EHS class of 1986!! (where are you?)
Let's see.....where do I begin? It's been quite sometime since I've been on this website. I believe I was living in L.A. Well now I'm in Chicago. I guess you can say I love the big cities, but still a small town girl at heart. I love it here!! There are so many things to see and do. From the Museums and Navy Pier, to shopping on Michigan Ave. and seeing the White Sox, Bulls or da Bears in action!! (smile)
I'm a single mom of two boys, Preston (17) and Sean (8). They keep me very busy from running them to basketball, football, karate or swim lessons throughout the year. I'm very blessed to have such wonderful boys!
I can't believe that I missed our reunion.....again! But I will definitely make the next one. I keep in touch with a handful of our classmates, but still would love to connect with more of you guys!!
Go Wildcats!! Still got that "purple pride" LOL
School
Oh this is going to be fun....let's take a stroll down memory lane shall we:
I remember having a crush on one of our football players....you'll never guess!! (SMILE)
I must say that Coach Rodgers, Mr. Hegler and Mrs. Kidd stand out the most to me.
On a perfectly sunny El Dorado day, I remember Daphne sp...Expand for more
ritzing Sprite in my hair and I thought it was raining. (you had to be there to understand)
I hated when my Dad made me where knee pads for basketball...I was definitely the target of jokes on that one.
College
Not much here....I only attended SAU-EB for a semester.
Workplace
I remember Dapahne saying to me once how she loved my diverse job experiences. And I would have given anything to have her one company career life!! No matter how old we get, at times we still think the grass is greener on the other side. lol
So you see, yes I've been to many places and had a few jobs. (wait a minute, that sounds like a song I've heard before..) Anyway, I've experienced different rolls in the corporate worlds of AT&T, CompUSA to FedEx Express. I've also spent a short time (very short) as a Flight Attendant (not Stewardess) with American Airline. I enjoyed each one of them immensely and took with me lifelong friendships and a world of knowledge. For the past 7 years I've been in Human Resources and now work for Citigroup.
Military
I took the Air Force test and passed when I was 22 or 23, but changed my mind in signing up. At times I wish I would have taken that walk....oh well. God bless those who have served and died for our Country!
