Pamela's Story
I am a happily married mother of 2 terrific children celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this summer. Our daughter is a college junior on a vocal performance scholarship and has great dreams for her future. Our son has decided, after his freshman year of college, continuing to sit in a classroom is "boring" and has joined the United States Navy as a rescue swimmer/diver/Special Ops. We are very proud of him.
I left Rochester, NY after college at RIT and have never moved back, although we visit often as some of our family is still there. After several moves up and down the east coast, due to my husband's career, we landed in the midwest where we have...Expand for more
been for ten years. We are now "empty nesters" and my husband and I look forward to his next career move.....no telling where we may end up...now that the kids are gone it will be much easier to move internationally if the opportunity arises.
I pursued my love of science with a BS in Medical Technolgy and Pharmaceutical Biochemistry. My current position is with a patholgy laboratory as a technical Problem Resolution Specialist. My favorite positions since college have been as a Pharmaceutical Biochemist and an HLA procurement coordinator.
I can't believe it has been 30 years - I hope all of my classmates have had as much fun as I have in life after PHS!!!
