Pamela's Story
Life
I had a hard life so far. I was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on September 26, 1953. I was adopted from a family who couldn't keep me. I lived in Westfield New Jersey for a while and also Scotch Plains New Jersey for a while.
School- I went to school in Scotch Plains New Jersey for awhile. Then a counselor talked to my parents and suggested to look at Riverview Schhol for slow learners so we did.The school I was going to was to hard for me, and hard to keep up on my school work, so that is why we looked into Riverview School. My parents took me to Riverview School in East Sandwich. I was there from September 1968 to 1972. I needed a school for slow learners, because some subjects were easy for me and some was hard. in 1972 to 1973. I had to stop early in the year because mom was dying of cancer. She died that year. I needed to be with my dad. He is a very good person to me.
I lived in Carmel New York for 16 years. The name of the place where I lived was called: Children Bible Fellowshio Of New York. I was there from 1980 to 1996. The program I was went was ACTS, that means Active Christian Training for Service. In 1991 we went to England for 2 weeks while I was there in that program. It was for handicap adults or emotional handicap, which I am. The program I was in Closed down but I stayed there 2 more years before I decided to move to Ohio.
