Pamelia's Story

With the exception of my college years, I have lived in Las Vegas. I worked with the homeless mentally ill for 18 years and retired from The Salvation Army in 2011. In 2013,. I went back to work at UNLV; teen pregnancy prevention, HIV/AIDS Awareness; autism and HIV pediatric....Expand for more
I retired from UNLV Medicine in December 2019. I currently serve on the Advisory Board for UNLV School of Public Health, Nevada Minority Health & Equity Coalition. Our focus the past 2 years have been on the pandemic, the opioid crisis, mental health and suicide prevention.
