Pat's Story

We took the less traveled road. We have lived where most people want to retire to. My husband Mark was my boss and we married three months later.(He asked me to marry him on our first date in 1968.) We are still married and have had an exciting life moving when and where we wanted to live and raise our one son, Sean. In 1973 we had our son and moved to Grants Pass Oregon Chrismas Eve. I was a buyer for a Dept store there and decided I didn't like the travel and became "The Ditch Witch" Only women ditch rider in five states. Regulated all the irrigation for the Rogue Valley. I got my Real Estate license sold property then opened a fine dining house with my husband calleds the "R Haus" in Grants Pass on the Rogue River. i (Kailua, Oahu) I managed five resturants for AmFac Corp. traveled outer islands for them and lived the good life. Husband opened a Raingutter business and also was Sears exclusive installer too. Worked for my husabnd and also sold Real Estate. Lived ther until we semi-retired sold business and homes in 1997. Moved back to the northwest . Now living in Battle Ground,Washington. Selling real Estate and taking care of my two beautiful grandaughters. Having fun and enjoying life. Have a bunch of girl friends and (realtors here) that like to gamble so we go gamblingt together and act like a bunch of teenagers at a slumber party. Love the Lords and God blesseds me with great husband who puts up with me. Love to hear from you all stop by if you get my way.
