I lhave lived in Palatine, Il. since 1956. We built our own home....quite an accomplishment. I had 7 children (5 boys 2 girls) One son died at age 42. from High School....THAT SURE MAKE A PERSON FEEL OLD (HOWEVER, MY BONES REMIND ME DAILY THAT I AM OLD). i retired from Ill Bell/Ameritech/SSB/ATT 20 years ago. Took on a part time job till I was 62...while doing that job I babysat 3 of my grandchildren. My husband passed away in 2005.
