Pat's Story
Well, I have lived a rich life, not so smooth; however, I have learned many lessons. Currently, I am a caregiver to my mom. I didn't go to college until late, but I did earn my B.A. in Human Services, and I did a few years of research at U.C.L.A.

d until 1993, I left when I separated from my ex-husband. Since then, I have had many jobs, but not one that was satisfying my interest. I was interested in helping people, especially battered women.
