Pat's Story
Life
After graduation from Argentine in 1971, I continued my education in Nursing at KCKJC (now KCKCC) where I met my future husband, David. We met in the Jazz Band. I graduated in 1973 becoming an R.N. where I worked at Bethany Hospital in the Operating Room for 7 years. I married in April of 1976 and had my son in 1980. I became a stay at home mom which I wouldn't have changed for the world. In May of 1982, a daughter was born and I continued to stay home and raise the children. Arts and Science. They both went on to graduate from Kansas State University (my husband's alma mater). In September of 2000, my husband started his own business and I became a bookkeeper and I am continuing to do this today.
Both of our children are married and work for us. We have two grand dogs and a 14 month old grandson. We moved to Piper 5 years ago after 27 years in our original home. We are very busy with work, church, family, and community actiivities. Unfortunately, my mother died in March of 2002 and my mother in law in April of 2002.
I have been very fortunate and blessed in this life and looked forward to hearing from "old" friends.
