Pat's Story
I too moved to the midwest in 1969. Prior to this move I earned a masters degree in recreation therapy and worked in that field for a year. I went to Chicago to train for VISTA, then was assigned to southern Illinois on several projects in the Carbondale area. ht a house and ended up doing Child Protection worked for 23 years until retiring in 2000.During that time I received an MSW.
In 2005 I suffered a stroke and have been working to recover ever since. I still tutor (adults) in reading and sing in a community choral group. I don't remember many of my high school friends and can't find my year book. Church, friends and exercise are very important parts of my life now.
