Patricia's Story
Life
During 1963 and 1966, I was in the Air Force stationed at Lackland Air force Base located in San Antonio, Texas. My assignment was in the Air Police Training division, but my real love was horses. I worked at a local stables, where I taught riding classes, gave guided tours, rode in parades, did barrel racing in horse events.
When my husband was sent to Viet Nam, I moved back to California and lived in the Santa Maria
area, and then in the Newhall/Saugus area until we moved to West Virginia in 1976.
I have two sons--both now married. The older one lives in Bellingham, Washington and attends engineering school. The younger one has his doctorate degree in education administration and is an assistant principal at a Virginia high school. He ...Expand for more
and his wife are in the process of building alarge log house on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake outside of Roanoke, VA.
My degree is in business administration. For the last 18 years, I have worked at a four-year college hiring, training, and overseeing the tutoring program. I also teach public speaking classes.
I am an amatuer photographer. I have won state and national prizes for some of my photos. My main interest is in scenic photographer.
My real passion is in the studying and teaching of the Bible.
My best friend is my husband. We have a wonderful life here in the mountains where we have chickens and peacocks along with our dogs and cats. Life is good and we are happy!
