Pat's Story
Life
While going to Chaffey College I met my husband Bob while singing in the chorus. Wen were married September 2, 1960. After feeling we would never get out of California we started getting transferred due to Bob's job. We've lived in Shreveport, LA; Nagasaki, Japan; back to Ontario; then Kobe, Japan; then Vallejo, CA. That is where I started working full time. I was an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for an advertising firm. Then we moved back to this area in 1989.
I am retired but Bob is working full time again after retiring for 3 yrs.He is a deacon at our church,serves as Secretary of our Home Owner's Association.
We are active in a small church nearby where we sing, teach and where I am a Trustee.. We are a multi-cultural church which has been used as a model for other Southern Baptist Churches.

We have 2 sons. One lives in Scotland with his wife. He takes care of his mother-in-law and is a natural born farmer. He takes after my Mom. The other lives, along with his wife and child. with us. Our grandson just started fourth grade and we joyfully spend lots of good, quality time with him. He has super parents and is a well adjusted, sweet kid.
I have had 70 surgeries but, through God's goodness and great medical care, am still able to be up and busy. Love to cook, read,and mostly sing.
We are also enjoying traveling. We hope to get up to Scotland in June of 2010 to see our son and his wife as it will be our 50th anniversary. Bob is scheduled to go on a mission in May to a Muslim country. Please keep us in your prayers.
I hope to be remembered as a happy, friendly person, who smiled a lot and sang my heart out.
