Pat's Story
I was excited to see this website and, what has happened to people I knew so long ago.Life, for the most part has been similar to the autobahn - and, then in a comical way I just slowed down with brakes burning...After, graduating I went to Jefferson State and then finished at Jacksonville State.I promise to shorten and not to bore...married in college moved back to B'ham. In l977 we moved to Houston and I divorced "Upchurch" 1982(I promised short). Worked with a production company that now is Dreamworks Studios. I started a wholesale bakery , and ,then a French Bistro - Cafe Patrice'. During all this time I traveled to very many beautiful and interesting places and took my son's ,if, school allowed. Sold both the Cafe'and bakery and took some time off. Married a pro football player.That was a very short game!!!Nice guy. Moved to Orlando - crime rate was about 2 to 3 hommicides a day and wanted my son's out of Houston. Think the deciding factor was simple- three guns in my face. Some, how ,my Dear Parents moved close to their grandson's (at least 7 hrs.)every time we moved..God Bless them..That is how I ended up in Pensacola - to care for my Mom until 2006.So, I don't know where I will go next ,but, I will not make this my final residence - just, alittle "different" from what and where I like my center to be. No grandchildren - they aren't even married.They work, work, work. They said, they wanted someone like myself - all I could tell them was I would pray for them and often...I haven't really enjoyed writing this ,as, I am "very" private and just don't write about myself or put myself out there....I must say - depending on where you have been in life or where you are going- this story could be frightening or to some very calming and normal. In all honesty -it has been a very Blessed Life and I have loved every moment of it - except, for the MS part -that just will not leave me alone!!I do try to ignore it as, much as possible.I have thought of the people I knew and always wondered where you guys are and hoped life had been so very good to you.
