Patricia (Pam)'s Story
Life
I left Belleville in 1972 and moved to Denver, Co. before moving to Dallas, Texas in 1975. I was a stay at home mom with four kids for 16 years, before going back to school to finish my BA and Master's degrees. Married a Louisiana boy so cajun cooking is part of our life. Moved to St George Island, Fl in 2014 when I retired
Work
I have worked for a major international law firm in the IT Dept. as a Training/Technical Support Specialist since 2000. Keeps me pretty busy, but I live for the weekends. It is actually more IT than training responsibilities.
Ready to retire and get away from the big city and enjoy a small town with a beach. In fact, we already have a place picked out -- St. George Island, Florida. Retired in 2014
Kids
A girl and 3 boys ...Expand for more
are all grown and out of the house, so we are empty-nesters and enjoy every minute of it. Lots of camping, going to the beach (whenever we can get away), reading and going to the movies.
Only our daughter lives in the Dallas area with us. The oldest son is in Vegas working in the IT field also; middle son lives in Boulder, CO enjoys the slopes and playing soccer; and the youngest lives in Austin, Texas working as a Manager for a brewhouse theater.
Our first grandchild was born July 21, 2006 (a girl). Fortunately, she is here in the Dallas area so we get to see her quite often. She keeps us busy and has her grandfather wrapped around her little finger.
