Worked at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico for 2 summers while attending Hocking College-(Nelsonville)

(1st)Wildlife/Recreation
(2nd)Law Enforcement.
Worked as a Cave Guide at Mammoth Cave National Park for 2 years, then with the Ohio State Park System for 10 years as a Park Officer. (Hocking Hills, Rocky Fork, & Scioto Trail State Parks) I was on my way to being a Park Manager, but God had other plans.
I married a United Methodist pastor, Pete Shaffer, (from Kingston, OH) Jan 9, 1988. Methodist's are known to move and we have.

ns for Sunday morning, run the sound board, hospital visits, etc. I love photography so there are always photos in the newsletter!
We are not rich in possessions, but we are comfortable. More importantly, I am serving where God wants me to be. In doing so, I have a great contentment and an inner joy that sometimes I don't even understand. God is good ~ all the time. ><}}>
Concerning my family and siblings:
My father, Norman died Feb 1989 at the Atomic Plant from possible heart attack.
My mom, Carol still lives in the Burg. She remarried in 1998. (David Gray) He died Sept. 2009
Terri-oldest sister (WHS '73) died of breast cancer Nov '97 at age 42. Her 3 children all live in Chillicothe.
Tammi lives in Tehachapi, CA. Went to CA for degree in physical therapy and stayed.
Tim is a retired Chillicothe policeman. He loves the semi-pro ball team Chillicothe Paints and fills in as announcer, scoreboard, tickets, etc. Has 3 children.
They all live in Waverly.
