Patricia's Story
Is this a great country or what? My life includes lots of chapters beginning withI meeting Bill Queen at SUNY Stony Brook. We married, he earned his PhD (at 24), we raised two children, lived abroad as well as many states up and down the eastern seaboard.
I was primarily the wife playing tennis and loving two boys - now men. I played a part in Bill's company, Corbel and Co, and helped to get it off the ground. Several years later Corbel was sold to ADP and we retired, traveled, read, played tennis and built a home on Amelia Plantation. Soon after, Bill passed away at 49 and I no longer wanted to stay in our home any longer so I took off to Atlanta. That was 22 years ago.
I am a realtor now and have been one for 13 years. A real realtor, office, assistant, 9-5 or more. Love it! I'll probably sell real estate forever.

ne of my sons, Bill, is in Palo Alto, happily married with 3 teens who are pretty special and loving. Patrick Henry Queen is here in Atlanta which is great. I haven't mentioned his children because he hasn't married and is quite selective it seems.
I've grown past the lesson learning stage where I always knew best, for a minute. Now I get to share the wisdom that took so long to acquire. A smile is always on my face. Hey! I'm pretty happy.
Hey! And I also think of two teachers once in awhile. One was Mr. McGrath and the other was the biology teacher who seemed pretty human to me as well. I also thought he was kind of appealing... in a funny way. My chemistry teacher had more faith in my abilities than I was willing to demonstrate. What a disappointment that might have been for him. Oh well. I'm going back to happy now.
