Patricia's Story
Actually, I didn't graduate from John Marshall High School. I did attend John Marshall Juniot High for 7th and 8th grades. Upon the death of my older sister Ann, my mother decided to enroll me at Pilgrim Lutheran School in Wauwatosa. The memories of my deceased father and sister proved too much for my mother, and as a result, we moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I attended Alhambra High School from September 1966 to November 1967. My mother moved yet again to California where I attended Glendale High School and transfered to Hollywood Professional School where I graduated in 1970. I really enjoyed the smaller class size and the interaction of the rich and famous that attended HPS. Upon graduation, I attended Glendale College for one semester and then transfered to California State University at Long Beach where I received a BA and MA degrees in Theatre Management. re husband. We have been married 34 years and have a son 33 years old. I worked for two symphony orchestras, a live theatre and a dance company. Careerwise, nothing took off. So, I decided to go back to school and and recieived an AA in Legal Assisting. I have never looked back. I work for a major insurance company and recently spent four years in Boston. I am now back home in Southern California where my eldery mother lives with us. My husband recently retired and our son still lives with us. We still own the condo in Massachusetts and I have a long commute to and from my job. So, we are, just as our fellow Americans are, adversely affected by the current downturn in the economy. I have vivid memories of my attendance at John Marshall and would like to reconnect with my former classmates that went on and graduated from John Marshall. Though the passage of time and life experiences I suspect we may have some very interesting stories to share with one another.
