Patricia's Story
After going to nursing school at St. Joseph Infirmary then working at Grady, I decided to go to medical school. Finished at Emory in 1983 and moved to Texas to train in General Surgery. Simultaneously, I got rid of "Patsy" (which I never liked) and now prefer Patricia. I was married to Bill Todd, Mary's brother, for a brief time. family name, so at least Bergen stayed the same.) He is a neurosurgeon. We are on the faculty at the medical school here in Dallas and have busy practices. We have two boys, Dan and Gabe. Dan is a plebe at the Naval Academy and Gabe is a high school junior. Got a late start in the family business but we have great personal and professional lives with a ranch in Texas and a second home in Montana, where Gabe wants to go to college. We are looking forward to retirement and paying for college!
