Patricia's Story

Life Life in a paragraph--here goes :) I've been maried 18 years in Nov. Husband is in the Air Force and I work for the Commissary (grocery store) on Beale AFB. I currently babysit the store ordering system to keep our shelves full! :) I have held other positions throughout the store but this position is more challenging. We live about an hour north of Sacramento close to Beale AFB. We have been stationed at Beale for almost 12 years. (yes, I am trying to stay close to friends and family)! :) I have two girls ages 11 and 2. Their schedules keep me busy. I enjoy driving through and around Vacaville. My friends keep me updated on various issues concerning the "town". I wish I had known how the property values would rise over the years--I would have spent my allowance and paper route money more wisely!!!! I have seen a few fellow classmates around town. Some I've actually spoken to and others I just "saw" and thought-hey that looks like so and so. :) Our military life has taken us to Idaho, Germany, and here to California. Idaho was ......well, Idaho. Very outdoorsy and slow paced compared to California. But I learned how to camp in remote areas, "kill" tumbleweeds at 80 mph with a p...Expand for more
ick-up, and (in that same pick-up) how to spin in circles on black ice without throwing up! So it was a productive 2 yrs. We then moved on to Germany. I had always wanted to travel--even took German in High School-- with Mr...........yea, him. :) Anyways, I traveled to many countries, did your normal touristy stuff, and loved every minute of it. While working and traveling, I still managed to get an AA from the University of Maryland in Europe. I hope to go back later in life and visit a few friends and visit a few countries that eluded me the first time. Well, we then ended up in California! And 12 years later--yep--still here! I'm thankful my husbands job doesn't take him away to often. Now our life is the day to day stuff with family, friends, work, ---yes work, homework, housework, yardwork, job-work (which is actually a break from all that other work) !! :) Ok, that's my life over the past twenty years. And thanks to writting this Bio, I actually look and feel 20 yrs. older. Looking forward to seeing whoever shows up for the reunion, and I hope people I know / knew a talked with in High School show up too! Take care Class of 85---can't wait to read up on you! :) Patty
