Patricia's Story
Hi Class of '68!
What a year to graduate! Did any of us realize back then, as we left Norview, our diplomas in hand, that 1968 would one day become so historically significant for the huge amount of dramatic social, political, and cultural change that took place that year? We are the class that can truly say (with Walter Cronkite's approval) that "We were there."
If you are scratching your head and wondering who the heck was this person, it doesn't mean you have a memory problem. I was extremely quiet! I was in AP classes and hung out with (or around) Carla Castor, Linda Etheridge, Mary Ann Coe ... to name just a very few ...
Anyway, after graduation, I attended W&M three years, then dropped out, got married, and have lived in Williamsburg since then. I was in business with my husban...Expand for more
d, running a campground, building homes, and a few other ventures, until we divorced in 1990. So, back to school I went, first to TNCC for an associate RN degree (1995) then on to ODU for a BSN (1998.) I've been a geriatric psyche nurse since then and am still single. My four very wonderful children are grown, and I have two grandsons.
I still have my year book, and it's a lot of fun reading through the names and faces in our senior class. Since I missed the 2008 reunion, I guess it is going to be a while before the class is together again. If you want to say hello or drop an email about what you have been up to, I'm interested! Whether you do say hello or not, I hope the past 41 years for you have averaged out good or better, and if not, I hope you get there soon ~
