Patricia's Story
After high school I became a registered nurse and worked mainly in intensive care areas, worked in Opelika then St. Francis in the SICU then moved to Germany for a 3 years , then to NC--again in the ICU at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.. Became Director of Nursing at one facility and loved it. It was hard to leave that position but I wanted to be close to my family and friends here in Columbus area. I also have a real estate brokers license in NC but inactive at this time. May go back into it if the market comes back . I came home to Columbus after my divorce in 2006 and worked at the Medical Center of Columbus for about a year and since December 2007 have been fortunate enough to be a full time stay at home mom to my second daug...Expand for more
hter. My two girls are 20 yrs and 1month apart. hahaha (29 and 9 in 2011). talk about feeling old....but they are my blessings. My oldest was in the air force for 4 years, and then moved to Tampa, Florida to finish college and now loves it so much she wont move back----lol. She is very independent. My youngest is a sweetheart , she doesnt know a stranger and every child she meets is a best friend. she is also very independent and is my ' mini me' !! she keeps me going and keeps me young at heart. I am very proud of both my girls. Both are kind hearted ,generous and loving. what more can you ask for.
I dont have alot of fond memories of high school!!!! Anyway, I do remember some of you guys and hope all are doing well..
