Patricia's Story
Since high school, a lot has happened in my lifle. I went to Oakland University and earned a degree in mechanical engineering in 1978. From there, I moved to California and lived there for 13 years. I met my husband, Edward Cormier, at Hughes Aircraft in 1980 and got married in 1985. During that time, I was an engineer in the electrical mechancal department doing prototpe projects. I left in 1986 and started a family. We had our first baby girl in 1988 and our second in 1990.
We moved to Tucson, Arizona when Hughes Aricraft closed in 1990. We had to adjust to a new life in Arizona, which was a lot different than living in California. Eddie transfered to the Tucson plant in early 1991 and shorty after, I found some e...Expand for more

Today, Corinne, our oldest is attending her second year at Arizona State University studying journalism. Caroline, our second child, is attending Pima Community College, majoring in pediatrics nursing. Eddie is up for retirement from Raytheon and is considering that option down the road. I am working at RainBird as an inspector and quality engineer. This will be my 10th year at this company.
Last but not least, we have an addition to our family since October 15th of 2006. He is a lab and German shepard mix and a joy to our family. His name is Reefer, after the coral reefs off the coast of Florida. We were on vacation in Florida a few years ago and that was were his name came from.
