Patricia's Story
Life
I worked for a bank for almost 8 years, then got married in 1970. I quit when I had my first child in 1971 and my 2nd in 1973 ( both boys ). I went back to college and graduated in 1981, then went to work for the Department of the Treasury. Twenty-two years later I retired and now my husband and I (he is also retired from a civil service job--his was with the Department of Defense) are spending our "golden years" together doing whatever we feel like.
We have 2 St. Bernards and take them with us as much as possible--especially when we go to the flea markets on weekends. ...Expand for more
( no pun intended ) We live in Wilmington, Delaware but do a lot of traveling. If you are reading this, I would love to hear from you about what you are doing now!!
To update the above, my husband passed away in 2008. I still like to travel, even though it;s not as enjoyable with no on to share it with. I have friends all over the country though, so there are lots of places to go when I get itchy feet. It;s just too bad my Saints are too big to travel with me 'cause that would be awesome. The male loves to ride in the car with his head out of the sun roof, so that really turns some heads!
