Patricia's Story
So much has happened since high school. I have had a good life. I was married to a wonderful man, Dale, for 25 years. He died in 1999 and I have been single ever since.
Dale and I lived in a small town in Idaho on the Salmon River for about 15 years where we raised my daughter and his son. Dale loved to fish and hunt and go camping. He was a good teacher and I still go fishing and miss camping. In Idaho, I worked on an ambulance as an advanced EMT and participated in various rescue activities.
When we moved back to southern California, Dale worked at Sports Chalet in La Canada until shortly before his death. I worked as a legal secretary in Downtown LA.
Michelle and her husband, Sean, have given me two wonderful grandchildren, Mary and Christopher. They live in Colorado. Mary graduated from high school in May 2008 and she is attending nursing school this fall. Christopher is still in high school. Sean and Michelle have great jobs and travel...Expand for more
to wonderful places (Brazil, Africa, Guatemala, etc.) and can sometime take Mary and Christopher with them.
My dad and stepmother, Stubby and Lois Ealy, are both gone and missed very much by all of us Ealys.
My mother lives in Oregon and I spend a lot of time there caring for her. Her home is on the Rogue River and, of course, fishing and wildlife photograph are my recreation there.
I have been retired for two years and enjoying it. Traveling and reading are a couple of my passions. I still haven't traveled much beyond Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico - I still have so much beautiful wonderful states to see. When I wrecked my 2006 Honda Civic this last February, it already had 70,000 miles on it. My little dog and cat travel with me and are great little companions. I hope that the price of gasoline doesn't clip my wings too much.
I'm looking forward to our class reunion in October and hope to see all of you there. I'm sure it will be fun.
