Patricia's Story
Just a short update. Harry was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer that lives in the bone marrow, the end of May 2012. Thru many struggles and hospital stays he was a trooper but on March 4, 2013 he lost his battle with this terrible deseas and passed away peacefully in his sleep. It has been a struggle every day to get up and keep going but that is what I must do. The Lord needed him more than I did and he is in heaven running Steam Engine Trains all the time. I miss him terribley but I do have a daughter and 3 grandson's to help me along.
Hope the rest of you are doing well.

Flash forward to Jul 2014. Well since I have written the last story a lot has changed. I have sold my old house on Cal Rd and moved to Prairieville, La much closer to my daughter and grandson's. I live in Manchac Commons and I love it. Very quiet neighborhood and good neighbors.

e also found a friend to share my life with. He lives up by Pineville and I've known his family for over 40 years. We see each other about every other week and are very happy together. He has been a good influence in my life and brought some happiness back into it. I still grieve for Harry but I also have found love again with Lee..
Hope we have many years together and lot's of good times.
Now all I have to do is unpack the half a garage of stuff that I brought with me that want fit in the house and I have to decide what to do with. Life sure can throw you curve balls but if you learn to catch them and deal with them it all goes well.
Looking forward to next years get together and seeing everyone. Hope time has been good to all of you, it certainly has been good to me and my health is pretty good.
You take care and let me hear from you every now and then,
