Patricia's Story
Life
After high school, I got a BS in Chemical Engineering and MS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Dayton. During and after college, I worked as an engineer for the Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton Ohio. My career started in aviation fuel research. For five years, as an aviation fuel specialist, I was a US Delegate to NATO and had the opportunity to travel around Europe, New Zealand, and South America. flight research programs and flight demos such as X-51 and rose to deputy division chief of high speed systems. After 38 years of working for AF research lab, I retired and currently tutor math part time. I am married with three children: Michael, Brianna, and Matthew. My oldest son is a mechanical engineer working for the US Air Force. My daughter is a pediatrician specializing in neonatology. My youngest son is a data scientist working for AT&T. I have 2 grandsons who live close to me so I get to spend lots of time playing with them!.
