Patty's Story
After high school I attended the University of Colorado and became a physical therapist until my retirement in 2012. I treated folks birth to death with all kinds of maladies. I also worked with one of the top triathletes in the world at the time in the 1980's. Who would have thought that after my hating PE class? I worked initially in Oregon and moved to northern California in 1980 after Mount St. Helens blew up before my very eyes.. nd be closer to family in 2008. I worked a bit part time but found I enjoyed retirement more than the work. I currently volunteer with the Friends of Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. It's a great place to hike and learn some pretty cool stuff about the geology of Colorado. I also teach a zoom class for the Multiple Sclerosis Alliance of Southern Colorado. Those two things keep my brain busy and satisfy my need to continue top contribute to society. I'm looking forward to attending the reunion and touching base with old friends to hear their stories.
