Patricia's Story
After graduating from St. Andrew's High School, I attended college for one year, then married, becoming a stay-at-home Mom raising 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Our oldest child and son died of cancer at age 14.
After our children grew up, I returned to college part-time but due to circumstances, left college becoming an Instructional Assistant in Special Education until retirement in my late sixties.
Now I am a grandmother with eight grandchildren, 3 boys and 5 girls, ranging in age from 5 to 25 years.

sent activities are mainly Church affiliated, having become an Benedictine Oblate of our local Abbey and also an active member of our parish Legion of Mary.
I am also a cancer survivor of 14 years.
One more thing to share is that due to my husband's employment, we lived in the Denver area of Colorado for one year and Massachusetts for 7 years, both locations enabling me to experience a seasonal climate and in MA much of our early American & literary history plus the unique atmosphere of the New England states.
