College
The University of New Orleans was a blast in the fall of 1991. The plan was to complete an Undergraduate in Business Management, with a minor in CIS, while attending on a Volleyball scholarship. In 1992, a sports injury prevented me from continuing my collegiate goal. Returning to Michigan in 1992, I found a good job and distanced myself from college. erspective, Saginaw Valley State University welcomed me as both: a student and valuable asset to their women's volleyball program. Over the next four years, the study of secondary education and exercise science were the main focus. The fall of 1998 was my last semester. One of the proudest moments of my life was walking across that stage, in May of 1999 knowing that I had overcome the odds of those who leave college and never return. I am greatful to my husband Kevin for his everlasting support and the love of my parents.
