Patricia's Story
I was raised by foster parents in Allenton, Mo and I had childhood polio whe I was a baby. I grew up on what is now called Wenger Rd and the house sat off the Rd and we had a ranch with horses and sheep and chickens. I knew some kids there but forgot thier names except 3 people. they are Linda Bowman and Patsy Brown and Yvonne Harris/ I also knew a boy named Douglas Newsom, he lived in Times Beach but I heard that that place is all like a ghost town now. oug that I used to play with when my mom (May) would go and get her hair done. My first school was the little Red brick building that I heard now is someones residence. I remember it was a first grade school and I went there for awhile and then I went to Eureka Elementary School. It sure would be nice to see if any one rememebers me. I was the only handicap child that lived around there and I walked with braces and crutches. I now live in Tucson, Arizona and I have had thyroid cancer and breast cancer. I hope I could find someone I knew back there before I die just so I can say hello.
