A couple of you have asked why I have two schools listed. I went to Rose City in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades and then moved to the Glenhaven area and finished up there, (grades 5 through 8) before entering Madison. Three weeks before our junior year my father was transferred to the Seattle area where I ended up at Sammamish High School in Bellevue, WA. t back to work and some things were dropped for a while and now that I am retired again, this time for good, I am trying again.. Anyhow, that is my story as to why I have two schools listed. I graduated from one but spent a lot more time in the Portland area and have a lot of great memories from that time. I remember having Mr. Hines for Algebra, Mr. Gottlieb for Geometry, working in the student store, walking forever to the gym or from the gym and locker room to classes, and rushing to catch the bus home.
