Patricia's Story
Life
So much has happened after graduating back in 1989. The first step I made was getting married to Robert Brooks. Now at the age of 18 it seemed like a good idea but in hindsight it definately wasn't. My three children were the best things to come out of that union. Robert Michael is 19 and in the Army, Damen Shane is 18 and will leave for the Army August 30, 2010 and Danielle Marie is 16. In 1997 I married Frank "Chip" Modlinski and we have just celebrated our 12th year anniversary. 1 loving husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 fish, a nice house across the street from a park in a nice neighborhood equals my American dream. Chip finally formalized the adoption and the children now bear his name legally. Life is good.

2007 - Graduated from American InterContinental University with Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with focus in Accounting and Finance. Summa Cum Laude.
American InterContinental is solely online but at an extremely accelerated pace. I should have bought stock in Folgers!
Workplace
Currently I am employed with Sierra Sands Unified School District in Ridgecrest, California as a bond clerk. I am solely responsible for the daily accounting of an $85 million dollar modernization general obligation bond. I am continuing on to get my CPA and begin investigating into the possibility of going to law school and doing tax law. Unfortunately due to budget cuts that position has been closed. I am now working as a paraprofessional and debating on going back to school to get my teaching credential in math. I am working with students and teaching CAHSEE math.
