Patricia's Story
Hello to my highschool and college friends!
Life has been good. I have four adult daughters, who are all educated, and raising their families, or building business with their spouses... My "Bonus Boy", Seth is working on his first year at the University of Alaska.
I graduated from the University of Alaska Southeast ( located in Juneau, Alaska) in 1981. I went back to college when my youngest daughters went to Kindergarten, changed majors and finished a degree in Elementary Education with 26 hours of graduate study in Resource teaching. Many of you know I studied Vocal Performance Music, and was 9 hours short of that degree when I met my husband and put education on the back burner as I started my family. Life has taken some unexpected turns. I raised my children as a "single mom"... Each one of them has done well...and I am very proud of them.
Since 1987, I have worked in real estate and finance. Most of that time I have been the owner/Broker of my own real estate business in Juneau, Alaska. So...if you want to come to SE Alaska...I will help to bring you "Home"...
I live in Juneau, where my two oldest daughters, Dana (son Tyler (21) and daughter Ava Rachelle (5) live, and Kari and her husband Raymond Huffman (and huge Malamute: "Timber". Dana is a full time college student, and Kari is a preschool teacher for a Christian School.
I travel between Juneau, and Harbor Springs, Michigan where my twin daughers (Bonnie and Sharla) and their husbands and my little grandson's, David (4) and Jared (10 months) live. I just bought5 acres of land in Harbor Springs, MI, for future "retirement" plans. The land is a nice bike ride (20 min) from Lake Michigan...and overlooks a beautiful valley, green farm land,and the ski runs of Nubs Nob, a bid deal ski area for Northern Michigan. In the fall the hills turn flaming red with the Fall Colors...

I have traveled frequently to Petersburg to work on the old home. My mother, Enid, passed on 11-6-09. I also list and sell real estate in that area.
I would love to hear from any and all Petersburg Highschool Grads, Skagit Valley College classmates, University of Alaska , Fairbanks classmates, or University of Alaska Southeast friends and classmates. "Catching Up"...is a lot of fun!
Those who know me, know I welcome visitors, and would give you a "tour of a life time"...if you happen to stop in Juneau! Time to think about crusing SE Alaska!
I am an "active" person, who is still working, and LOVE being a grandma. I have one grandson Tyler, who is a business Managment student, in his 3rd year of college at UAF. My little granddaughter Ava, and two little grandsons are tightly wrapped around my little finger, and I around theirs. They are darlings...and LOVE their grandma! wrapped tightly around their little fingers! I enjoy gardening and landscaping, like to wet my hook and try to catch a fish on occassion, enjoy photogrphy, writing and travel. Did someone say "Beaches of the World"??? Count me in!!!
Some of you will remember me as "Patsy Magill", others will know me as Pat Zimmerman (married 17 years). Since 89 my name has been Pat Magill Stevens.

Those of you who knew me as a "Younger person"...know I wanted to be a Singer, actually an Opera Singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, life had a different plan for my life. Singing became my "fun thing to do"...because I couldn't see myself making a living as a singer, with four little girls. Traveling around in a bus, with my children is not what I wanted to do! I changed directions: Teaching and real esatate are what I do best!.
