I have found out that if you wish hard enough - sometimes your wishes come true!! =) I still have my wishes and 'what if'.... March, 2018...We have been getting together monthly at San Antonio Winery 2nd Wednesday of each month!! for the past 1 1/2 years Joe Ortiz and I have been seeing each other. Just a dear man - we have so much fun together - he makes me laugh so much!! 1/16 Just came back from an awesome vacation!! My dear friend and classmate, Josie Gomez Silva and I went on a great cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Aruba, Cartagena, Columbia, Panama Canal, Colon, Panama, Costa Rica, and Grand Cayman Islands, then back to Fort Lauderdale! I love getting together with my dear friends. 12/15 - this December we lost a dear friend and classmate - Bobby (Robert) Velasquez. Bobby was our Class President of S'61 he had an amazing career - first US Army, then with Los Angeles Police Department. He was one of 3 classmates that brought our class together, meeting the 2nd Thursday of each month at San Antonio Winery! He was an awesome friend and you will be greatly missed by me and all the others!! 12/15 Life for me has been great this past year - I have reunited with many of my classmates - we meet once a month at San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles. This Dec., 2015, we are meeting on Dec. 11th - I hope if you are reading this you will join us!! It has been awesome to reconnect with Robert Puente, Eddie Contreras, Bobby Velasquez, Pat Moreno, Pat Barros and many others. Life On July 8, 2014 my life changed completely!! I had a major heart attack - on the 10th I had open heart surgery. 4 major bypasses!! It has been a rough go - but with my amazing family and friends I am getting through it all!! Taking one day at a time. Now to help my life get along I have just made reservations for another cruise - along with my dear friend, and classmate Josie Gomez Silva. We are going to Australia and New Zealand. I can hardly wait!! We are going with the same dear friends we went to the Mediterranean with!! Life just keeps getting better!! Thank you Lord.... My trip to New Zealand and Australia was so awesome!! Now getting on with life, I enjoy being with my friends and family! I have 2 children, David was 43, New Years Day, Denise, 40. My granddaughter, Victoria Maureen, 17, and grandson Anthony, 16, are the loves of my life....Expand for more
