Life
Happily married 31 years to George (who retired 3 year ago from 26 years on the Wichita Falls, TX Police Department. Now he works part time 3 days a week, plays golf ...and has added scuba diving to the list! That's the life)! Have three sons - all grown, with two married!! Whew! George III - 29, a Youth Pastor and married for 4 years, Greg - 26 and an Assistant Golf pro going for his PGA qualification, and Gary - 25, Commercial loan officer and married 2 1/2 yrs. I have two awesome daughters-in-law. Finally...female company!!! George and I also have two other additions to our family...(we had to put our 165 lb Neo asleep). We now have two 4 year-old Great Danes - Zoe Girl 150 lbs and Astro - 135 lbs - both from Great Dane rescues. Just like having two new babies!!!!!!
Life is great...I can't imagine it being any different. Church is a very big, big part of our lives. George and I teach a College and Career Class (for the last 6 years), along with him being a deacon and me a nursery supervisor (I get my ...Expand for more
baby fix that way! ). The most important thing is that our whole family is saved and loves the Lord!
I've changed jobs recently after 17 years and am now working as an administrative assistant at the Department of Public Safety -Highway Patrol. That takes up most of my time, along with raising my husband and kids (that's right...sometimes it's like having four boys and even though they're grown, they never stop needing something!). We are constantly on the go! We never stop! I also have a small private in-home spa business....so fun!
Our favorite things to do are traveling (anywhere and everywhere), with snow skiing, snorkling and spending time at our favorite resort in Cozumel on top of the list! George also golfs regularly.
UPDATE: WE NOW HAVE TWO GRANDSONS WITH ANOTHER ONE ON THE WAY IN MAY 2008!!! TRIPLE BLESSINGS!! I HAD NO IDEA HOW MUCH FUN IT WAS GOING TO BE TO BE "MIMI AND POPS" TO THOSE LITTLE GUYS. Dru is 17 months, Cross is 10 months and both go non-stop.
