Patricia is from Birmingham, Alabama. Patricia's schools include graduation from Carlsbad Senior High School in 1961.and previously attended Hewitt Trussville High School in Trussville, Alabama. Patricia later attended NMSU-Carlsbad (Business and was a member of Phi Thetai Kappa) and Bob Jones University (Business) . Patricia worked at NMSU-Carlsbad for 28.5 years and retired August 1, 2005. More about Patricia: I married CHS math teacher and baseball pitching coach, Raymond Lewis Landreth (Rayboy) in 1965. We were married almost 38 years when he passed away in 2003. We have 3 children; son, Tommy and wife Tina; son, Billy and wife, Melanie, grandson, Chance and great granddaughter, Hope born in Dec. 2016; granddaughter, Cydney and great granddaughter, Rory 3. ay Walker 21 (junior at NMSU and owner of Java Dave's in Carlsbad) and Fisher Lewis Walker 17 (junior at CHS). Being "Granny" is a marvelous accomplishment and being able to live near them has been wonderful. I worked for NMSU-Carlsbad for 28.5 years. I retired from NMSU-C in 2005. Went back and worked at NMSU-C another 6 months in 2006 and worked again for 3 months in 2011. I am an active member of First Baptist Church-Carlsbad where I also do volunteer work in the office and serve on several church committees. I have two Chihuahuas, Sparky and Bronco. I married Harry Don Readel, on June 25, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randy Land, First Baptist Church and Rev. Sam Lanham, First Presbyterian Church doing the honors. Harry and I were both blessed with good mates that we both lost somewhat suddenly, so were very happy that we were twice blessed with true love. Harry and I were CHS classmates in the Class of 1961. We re-met at a local election in March 2010. Harry was sick 3 years of the 4.5 years we were married. Harry died suddenly on January 6, 2016. I feel I was truly blessed to be loved by both Ray and Harry. I miss them but cherish wonderful memories of both.
