Life I left Portsmouth in 1964, headed for sunny San Jose, California, where I met and married my husband of 24 years. A "late bloomer", I didn't start college until I was 24, and true to "prophecy", majored in Fine Arts, graduating just two days before my first daughter was born. I now have three daughters Katie 34, Stephanie 32 and Carrie 29. Katie, happily married, is the mother of my two grandsons, who are 11 and 9 and has now returned to college, after being a stay at home Mom for 7 years, majoring in Exercise Physiology with plans to become a Physical Therapist and personal trainer. She and Carrie are both avid marathon runners and now she's training for her first Triathalon. Stephanie, after several years in the Air Force, graduated from college Summa Cum Laude in May 2005 and now works as a Videographer and Filmmaker at Fort Gordon, here in Augusta and is a new mother of a beautiful baby girl, born April 2, 2007.
