Patricia's Story

I graduated from UIC in '69 and began teaching first grade that same year. I also got married in '69. I have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. I taught first grade for 43 years and recently retired in 2012....Expand for more
I spend my days now with my 6 beautiful granddaughters. I still live in the area (Elmhurst.) I do substitute teaching when I desire because I miss working with the kids, even though I have them at home.

Celebrated my 2 granddaughters' 13th birthdays last night. They are only 11 days apart. So proud of them. They are beautiful, smart, kind and funny. I love you girls so much. May you have many, many more blessed birth
