Patricia's Story

Patricia is widowed. I was happily married for 50 years to a wonderful man and have two successful, independent and caring adult children plus two delightful grandchildren (aren't they all?) . My schools include Highland Park J. C., Highland Park High School, Durfee Middle School, and Doty Elementary School. I was an Adm. Ass't at GM Fisher BodyTech Ctr for a few years and quit when children were born,. Later was employed by Estee Lauder LLC as a part-time Training Assoc. for the Metro Det. Area. I currently manage family properties as well as my home, do some volunteering in both the hunger and political arenas. In my free time I very much enjoy travel, walking, reading (belong to both a fiction and non-fiction book club), movies, Plays, dining out, concerts, exploring new venues around town and socializing with a great group of friends. TV shows Patricia likes include CBS Sunday Morning, 60...Expand for more
Minutes, Aljazeera America News, Rachael Madow show, Madam Secretary, the Big Bang.Theory, Shark tank, plus Movies and specials on PBS,. Current Books I enjoyed include Boys in the Boat, Being Mortal, Man named Ove, Sisters In Law (Sandra Day O'Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Radium Girls, and Born a Crime...Trevor Noah. Currently, about to begin Killers of the Flower Moon (The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI).. PS: My oldest grandson is currently a sophomore at Highland Park High School (in (Illinois). The youngest begins HP this fall... Amazing that both the boys and I attended HPHS...neither wanted my polar bear sweatshirt.. It is 2022 One grandson will begin his Jr. year at Loyola Univ. and the other will begin Denison University in Ohio this fall. I, like most, have been watching the investigation of the Jan. 6 insurrection.....never thought I would see this horrific scene in my lifetime.
