Patricia's Story
Life
My life has changed and I have relocated to Georgia from California. I am settled here with my lifemate Don in our 4 bedroom cabin. We moved here in 1993 and are in the same home. Our first house together. It is the longest either of us have lived in one place since we were children. We don't rule out the possibility of relocating again but so far we have both been able to find work here and live comfortably. Georgia is a bit of a culture shock for me since by California standards I am "weird" and out here I am "artistic". A word for people who ruffle feathers I think. Same old me.
School
They have changed this site since I started. Now that I can put other schools in I can list my grammar school and all 3 high schools I went to! Kewl. I also started as a paying member and put my photo in which seems to be an oddity these days. I don't see anyone's stinkin' picture man! Sheesh. I went to my grammar school reunion for St. Lukes and had a ball. When I saw a teacher had entered some stuff from that school I thought for sure it would be Mrs. Higgins! e touch with friends from St. Andrews like Patsy and Lolly but my Dad's death started a depression that lasted till about 1990.I didn't give any of myself to Durango HS since I was forced to go there by my family.I liked my English class and A&W Root Beer for my first job. I am glad I went to all 3 high schools even if it was a pain. This big pain is signing off-Patty
Workplace
Since graduating from college I have done many different jobs. I really get known as a hard worker and a person who will get things done. I am great at offending the higher ups and "suits". I talk turkey and can use some words people would rather not hear but insist on stating the obvious. I made the most money working with my hands at hard things like construction and sewage plant work. I made the least amount doing inventory for a company and working once as a motel desk clerk. I am an artist at heart. I got my Georgia license as an optician and worked in that field for about 15 years. I have a retirement from Luxottica and am doing okay. I am a Legging Army Affiliate at leggingarmy.com/#Idjet.
