Patricia's Story
How do you go back over 40 years since highschool to bring everyone up to date? Skip all the boring stuff, like marriages (had 3), divorces (had 3), and get to the interesting stuff like children (2 great sons), grandchildren (2 wonderful boys), and a new career that I truly love and was meant to have. I went back to school in 2004 to become a nurse; this was a career I had planned over 30 years ago. I like to say that life gets in the way of our plans, which it did, so I am now realizing my dream and doing what I was intended to do all along.
I've come a long way from being a highschool majorette and band queen to doing meaningful and purposeful work.
I divorced in 2007, the man whom I was going to grow old with, but once again life brought some new realities and opened new doors. I'm happier than I ever dreamed possible, living in my cute cottage in Jupiter, FL. ...Expand for more
and living my dream. I love to read, travel, dance and go to the beach which fortunately is only 3 miles from home.
I don't go back to Nashville often, so I have been removed from old friends and classmates, but would love to hear from you. I don't go by Pat anymore either (old friends and family are still welcomed to use the nickname), now I'm known as Trish Weaver (took back the maiden name). I decided that after 3 trys at marriage I would just go out with the name I came in with; afterall, I had enough opportunities for change.
2013 Taking a break from 50 hour workweeks and enjoying life with my love, Dan. Traveling, back and forth between our homes in Florida and Chicago. Recently moved to Hypoluxo, a small coastal community south of West Palm Beach. Loving and sharing life with Dan, the way it was meant to be.
