Life
Attended Heidelberg College from 1959-1963. Taught one year in Elyria, 5 years in Mentor, 1 year in Orville, 5 years in Malta, and25 years at Grand Valley, Taught first, third, fourth, fifth, eighth grades. Finished out the last nie years at a small elementary building teaching first grade and serving as the Head Teacher (essentially, the principal with teacher pay). Married in 1967. Divorced in 1972. have adopted me, so I have 4 "grandchildren". Am enjoying retirement. Would like to travel more than I've been able to. We have a home on 5 acres that requires a lot of work to keep up with the yard, etc. We're thinking of downsizing, but this was her parent's home, so is a hard decision. My mother is living in Lakewood with my sister, Peg. My sister Mary Ann lives a few blocks away from her. Mr brother Bill lives in Marblehead, Ohio. We lost my brother Mike to lung cancer in 1992. Life is good!!
