Ron and I have been married for over 35 years. Our sons threw a surprise anniversary party last December. It was GREAT! Both sons are in their early to mid 30's. Ron retired almost 4 years ago from Lucent. He works part-time delivering meals to elderly people for a private company. I am retiring this school year from teaching for Columbus Public Schools. We plan to travel and enjoy each other's company. We still have tons of fun together. We are truly blessed. (March - 2006)
Update=May 2012 Ron and I are heading toward 42 years of marriage but we have been together for 50. Life is good and after a run of six difficult years, things seem to be headed in an upward direction. Ron's mother did died from Alzheimer's in November. nd Joseph. He is our FIRST grandchild! They live in Olde Towne East in Columbus, so we get to see them alot. Mike just got a good promotion at his job in Miamsburg, Ohio, where he has been living for about two-and-a-half years. He is with a girl he knew in grade school and her two children from a previous marriage. They are planning on marrying sometime soon. Ron and I enjoy retirement, even though I have had complications from chemo. I have had some lung and heart problems but we are working on them. Since my sister and dad died from heart problems, so I am really staying on top of it. Jackie's older daughter finally got through nursing school and just got a great job at Mt. Carmel West. Paige is still in school. Jackie would be very proud of them. We would like to head out on a cruise soon. That's it for now. P.S. We inherited Russ' doberman, Zoe, and we love her to pieces. I don't know how we lived without her before. She is a sweetheart. PABC
