Patricia's Story
I grew up in Goshen, Connecticut. I’ve been married to Dick Parker since 1991. I attended Wamogo Regional High School and after graduating attended Briarwood College. I worked for several years as a pharmacy assistant at Appell Drug in Plainville, CT. I joined Loctite Corporation (now Henkel) in June 1972 and retired from there in 2004 as an IP Administrator.
Some of my favorite quotes/sayings: “There are two ways to live your life ... one is as though nothing is a miracle; the other is as though everything is a miracle.” ~ Albert Einstein ~
“If there's never enough time to do it right, why is there always enough time to do it over?”
“I'd rather ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.”
“Do it right the FIRST time.”
“This too shall pass."
I have been married three times. My first marriage to Gary Pisarsky lasted for ten years and produced my wonderful kids, Nick and Brooke. My second marr...Expand for more
iage to Jim Chagnon lasted 1-1/2 years. From that marriage, I have gained forever my step-kids, Marci (Quinn) and Greg Chagnon. I have been Patti Breakell, Patti Pisarsky, Patti Chagnon, Patti Parker and now I am known as Trish. (Please, don’t ever call me Pat!)
I have two children (both married), a grandson and 4 granddaughters. I also have 5 grandchildren with Greg and Marci’s gang of 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.. My husband has three adult children and 11 grandkids. Between us, we have kids in Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Florida. Yes, all on the East coast!
My mom and dad both passed away this past decade. I miss them so much. Most of my siblings still live in Connecticut and I try to visit every summer when I travel to Maine and stay with my daughter so I can spend lots of time with all my “kidlets!”
Dick and I retired and moved from Tolland, CT to Tucson, AZ in February 2004.
