Patricia's Story
After high school I attended college in Milledgeville, Georgia for 1 year. Then I lived in Mariettea Ga for about a year and commuted to work and college in Atlanta. After I moved to Atlanta I worked for a key stroke company at 14th and West Peachtree close to where I lived. A boarding house near there is where I lived. It was a great place. Shortly after that I moved into a house with 3 other girls. I lived in Atlanta for about 4 years before moving to Houston, Texas where my sister and her husband lived. I attended school there in addition to working full time. I have moved alot and finally got my LPN there. I retired in 2004 from Continental Airlines after 11 years of service. re of my parents. They have both passed, Mom in 2003 and Dad in 2006. I am a two time breast cancer survivor and have been in remission for 5 years this past October. I married in 2003 (for the third time) and have a wonderful husband (also a two time cancer survivor). We live in a very small town in the panhandle of Florida. I have 2 children from my first marriage. My daughter lives in Baltimore with her boyfriend. My son and his wife and daughter live in Bend, Or. I have one granddaughter and one on the way that is due in July 2013. Both have graduated from college. My daughter has her master's degree in Library Science. I have had a good life. The only regret is that I did not get a four year degree after high school. All in all I am very happy.
