I just signed on to Classmates and read about the reunion in April. I live in Van, TX, about 110 miles to the west of Shreveport. April sounds good, but I am very involved in several community projects and will just have to see how that goes as time gets closer. I have lived in Van since 1967 and retired from teaching English (7th grade) after 30 years. My husband and I met at TCU and he was from Van. We both graduated in '64. He died in 1996 while still coaching here where he had graduated. We were blessed with two children. Pam is married to Jay, one of her high school classmates who is now a doctor...they have three children and they live in Hereford, Texas where he is on staff at the hospital. Steve, like Jerry and I, graduated from TCU '96, and then married a Vanderbilt grad from Poteau, OK. They had met the summer after his soph yr. while working at Camp Ozark in Arkansas. They spent four years in the Philadelphia area while he attended Westminster Theological Seminary. They have 4 children and live in Lubbock where he is the on-campus minister for the Presbyter...Expand for more
