Patricia's Story
Life
After graduating high school and attending Foothill College for a couple of years, I decided I wanted to travel and see the world, so I became a flight attendant and traveled internationally for 3 years. When I left the airlines, I worked for a men's clothing store and became the buyer for the women's department, managing and buying for 24 stores. nagement, which left me looking for new opportunities in God-forsaken, hot and humid, Georgia! After several pit-stops along the way, I finally settled into a new position with a public accounting firm as their COO.
I never anticipated my life would turn upside down like it did, but you learn to make the best of things. I must say, starting over at this age is really quite a challenge!
We hope to move back to the west coast in the next few years and build our retirement home on a lot we bought a few years ago, which is on the 8th fairway at Salishan, 5 miles south of Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. Our son lives in Beaverton, Oregon, so it will be wonderful to be living (somewhat) close to him once again.
I didn't keep up with anyone from high school, so I don't expect anyone to actually read this, but if someone should, I hope life is treating you well.
