Patricia's Story
Life
Graduated from Santa Clara High in 1953. Married Joseph (Junior) Alves in 1956. Have three children, two grandsons. I lived in Cupertino since marrying and then for seven years in Live Oak, Calif. Returned to Santa Clara in 1969 and bought a home. I live there still, but am now a widow losing Joe in 2000. I work part-time at the two local convention centers, belong to the Sizzling Seniors dance group, have been a docent at Santa Clara University for three years, enjoy many activities including ballroom dancing and watching my two grandson'...Expand for more
s play Little League. Some of you may remember me as a majorette with the band, while others may remember me directing the Pantherettes. I taught baton twirling for many years and retired from active teaching about 1980. I still twirl and do an occasionaly solo with my dance group. I have traveled in Europe visiting London, Paris, Lisbon, Scotland, and Amsterdam. This year I visited the Smokey Mountain area, Tucson and Sedona, Arizona, and Canada. No travel plans for 2008 as yet. Hope I hear from some mates from the 1953 class. Pat George Alves
