John Lewis:  

I am retired and live with my wife,Trish, in our great home on the edge of the open space in Boulder. We ride our bikes 9 months of the year, and trade in our bikes to ski (downhill and x-country) during the winter, which we spend in Snowmass, near Aspen. Being active and staying fit is important to both of us, as is being outside. (Trish is an athlete, too. She was Ohio Women's State Champion in racquetball, as well as 2nd in the nation for women age 30 to 35.) We also travel a bit, enjoy good (and healthy) food and wine, friends, and slow-time together. I remain a committed reader, too. Our most exciting trip was a trek to Everest base camp in Nepal in 1999. We have also been to Europe a number of times, and especially love Italy and Provence, where we enjoy the countryside, biking and walking, and touring and tasting at wineries. Professionally, I was a serial entrepreneur in health care services, co-founding three national, venture-capital financed, post-acute care companies: Advanced Rehabilitation Resources (ARRI), Intensiva Healthcare, and Centerre Healthcare.
